Reflections
the reason why i chose reflections
The reason why i chose reflections for my project because i think it is cool and not only it is about taking pictures of people and object on the mirror, but the way i see and think about reflections is about seeing the other side or the reality of living things, plus it is about people or object being symmetrical or in a pattern. so, that is the reason why i chose reflections because it is interesting to see the other side or the similar side of things.
ReflectionsReflections in surfaces such as water, mirror glass, windows and metallic objects are sometimes recorded by photographers and filmmakers to create distorted images or to frame a view. Lee Friedlander has photographed images reflected in the wing mirrors of cars and shop windows. Naoya Hatakeyama used reflections on water to explore views of Tokyo in his 'River Series'. Images containing reflections have also been used as the basis for GIF animations and film loops.

Before i started taking pictures i decided to plan it out first before and i picked which one i am going to use when taking pictures based on reflections example photo-shop reflections, reflections from light, reflections from any object with a shiny surface and many more.

This is my favourite image.
This is one of the most interesting images from Lee Friedlander. I chose this one to evaluate in detail as I find it strange, it almost feels like if as there is a parallel dimension. This illusion has been created by the way in which the shadows are lengthened at the front of the image where the objects have been reflected. The photograph already has lots of objects which are mostly telegraph poles and signs which are all standing upright, because of the shadow this has created more lines which makes the image look more abstract.
Tom Hussey
Tom Hussey is a photographer who is specialising in
advertisement and lifestyle photography. I have chosen to use this artists work as inspiration because although not all of his work is based on reflection but there are many of his images which show reflections like the images which I have shown below. His reflective images tell stories by showing images from the past which are reflected in the window. The artist has created these images by using photoshop. I chose them because I think that his photographs are another genre of reflections as to me they are so much more interesting because it is almost like another art form. The photographs are carefully created by using photoshop but he also very carefully places the people within his images so that they are at an angle so that they stand out. I think that he ha created the light on his images as it looks lie the light is coming from the left hand side and I think that it is artificial light as it is all over the image n the left hand side. I would like to create some images like this using a digital camera and photoshop. |

the reason why i chose this one is because even though they are all related there is something about the picture which is trying to tell as something like from the past to the future and from a successful business man in his prime into a happy life in his elderly with his patner

the reason why i chose this picture as my favourite one is because you can pretty much see the entire city reflection on the windows and the light contrast is different on the reflection than the actual light in the building.
Reflections: mind map
Reflections images: set 1.
reflections set 1: what went well and even better if (www/ebi)
this photo went well because the reflection of the table tennis net was continously strecthing like the width of the net never ends or it is infinite but even better if, i could have done is to let the assistance hold the mirror at the bottom so that his body is not visible.
photo-shop reflection: set 1
photoshop relections: what went well and even better if (www/ebi)
what went well in this photo is the colour and the outlines is quite visible and the fact i am doing reflections for my project you can still see the reflections and it is more visible than the reflections in the original picture. even better if, what i think i could have done to improve the picture is by making the yellow as much visible as the other colours.
photography apps you can use for reflections.
layout
layout is good for reflections because it comes with features such as mirror and flip so that the image is reflected at the opposite side or even the same side.
reflection
reflection is a good app for good quality of reflections and the reflections of your images on a different range of geometrical shapes. it is easy to use and it is so simple but the quality of the images are outstanding. which makes the pattern match it theme.
Mobile photography reflections
Mobile photography reflections: what went well and even better if (www/ebi)
,what went well is that there is two reflections, one of them is the paper and the other one is the laptop screen which is in the middle.
but the interesting thing about this reflections is that the contrast of it looks like a watery or mirror-like object, which is potrayed by the laptop and the paper. even better if,
